SALUTE TO 2003

i dunno what happened, i woke up, sat down in front of my computer and made this salute to 2003 movie. i hope you enjoy it. this is my frist year on the blogger and i so enjoy to write my journal. i really appreciate all the feedback and that there are a lot of people who read my little takes on life and crazy adventures! i am so looking forward to 2004!!! now is the time! transformation of the human spirit is at hand! no time to delay! get up and get going! i been waiting a long time...wooohoooo!

NEW YORK OR SNOWBOARD??

i am now in new york city. i really would have gone snowboarding, but one of my best friends really really needed me, so i agreed to go. it's either snowboarding or yoga, so if i go to nyc i can do tons of yoga and get all prepped up for being in paris. i really want to focus in 2004 on developing my own consistant practice. that, coupled with more conscious eating. many times i am rushing around the city on castings and i dont find anything i like to eat. i burn an incredible amount of energy in the day, and the type of foods i like are raw/living foods--non-existant in paris! i loooooove fresh squeezed green juices, they are so alkalizing to the body! plus, if i go to nyc i can eat in my favorite restaurant, quintessence!!! so here i am in nyc!

JEUNES CREATEURS SHOW IN THE LOUVRE

woohooo! i got booked for shows of the jeunes createurs show for haught coutour in the louvre! one of my designers won too! my friends came to see me in the show, that made me feel so amazing. it was so much fun and the client remembered me from the pret-a-porte show season in paris! it was such an exciting event and i was so pleased i could participate! my friends said that i walked really well.

december 2003 paris
	BACK IN PARIS!!

(photo taken by a sonyericson)	have arrived back in paris because it is starting to pick up and get buisy. i really love this city! i am so happy to be here! i really like my agency. benedict (one of the bookers from the agency) had private party and i was invited. we partied the whole night! first we had a beautiful dinner at a restaurant on ave george v, then we went dancing to la suite, and after to a strip club (my frist time ever in that kind of place!) called pink! one of the girls took my phone and started taking photos when she saw me sitting on the chair with my back to her. you have to check out the movie! very sexy shots! it ended up with rudophe (booker) looking at us naughty girls. i made a little flash animation of it. i have made friend with another red haired girl from my agency and we have been going on castings every day together! its soooo nice to go on castings with a sister. not to mention a red haired sister! i just found out too, that my other "sisters", the red head twins from milano are in town! we have been hanging out too! i am still staying with the disciple brothers, but one brother went to brazil and so it is just one disciple and me. that wont last long i think, cuz he just met a girl and that always means i am on the way out...c'est la vie! i wonder where i will live, but not too much, because with all the feng shui i have been doing on his house i am pretty sure divine powers will manifest a beautiful place. i relax into the now. i still have not found a place to do yoga and my self-practice is dwindling! however, alex and i continue to meditate together in the mornings. he is vishnu...the maintainer! go vishnu! the weather is so beautiful here and the leaves are falling. i went to meditate on the banks of the seine river. gilles rosier and davide o, took the brothers and i to a vegetarian dinner! it was super yummy in a very cool place, called l'aliemente. it was very kind of them to take us to dinner and to make it possible for me to eat my style too. i did a show for kookai and HAD THE BEST DAY! but i cant show any of the photos until after february because it is their summer collection and hasnt shipped yet. so only funny little gif to show you! what an amazing company with very very cool people working there! did a private show for all the jeweler's in place vandome, 75001 paris. very exclusive event...only girls and boys from success models were there. i got chosen by breguet to show their new 3 year old, jewelry collection. ALL THE PERFECT THINGS FOR DELICATE GIRLS LIKE ME! they were perfect! the client was lots of fun and my body gaurd followed me all over the party as i spoke my little party french to everyone! it was so much fun! 88,000 dollars in jewels and you'd have a bodygaurd too with you!

	PARIS, DUSSELDORF, & OFF TO BERLIN!!
	i left amsterdam and went to paris. it's still slow in paris, so i am off to dusseldorf and over to berlin to see some clients and do some work. i lived in berlin when i was small, with my aunt and uncle. my family comes from there and weimar. i would so like to see where my grandfather is burried. my agent, pascal, said he would totally help me to find the grave! i am so excited!! i want to see the house where i lived. it will be a trip in time because i don't really feel very connected to my german roots. i have a much wider feeling of where i come from. i think like a global citizen. the world is my oyster and home is inside of me. i wonder what kind of feelings i will have about it. hmmmmmm....looking into my paaaaast. veeeery eeeeenteresting....

ALEXANDER VON SLOBBE

i am back in amsterdam after a wonderful time working in milano. i even got to see my agency monday and flew to amsterdam in the evening! i am confirmed for the ALEXANDER von SLOBBE show for the netherlands royalty!! what an honor.

alexander won a prize from prince bernard! we got to do the show in the church next to the queen's palace by the damm square in amsterdam. they had the top hair and makeup team working, with farid as the hairstylist!! it was so nice to see him again and work together. we practiced a few times the slow walk, and then it came time to do the show. the music was wonderful and we waited as alexander gave his thank you speach for the award. he is the first designer in holland to recieve a prize for art. CONGRATULATIONS ALEXANDER! i got to stand right in front of the prince, and after the show, during the dinner, the last governer of amsterdam came up to me and we had a great chat!

IO DONNA 14 PAGES!!!

wow. this is such an awesome trip! we are having so much fun together and sharing in the rainbow feeling! every day i see the most amazing toscana skies, landscapes, and eat wonderful food. we have a female chef come to cook for us in the evenings, and i told her i am vegetarian and like a lot of raw food. so she mixed me up a beautiful salad and made me some pupkin soup! yum yum yum! i am so blessed by the people around me.

today i had the best advice ever given to me.

thanks to the wonderful petit gui's from poland who were chilling on the sidewalk at Place Victoire, for cheering me up and playing with me and making me laugh. thanks for being there. its so nice to know that even if you cant speak a lot, many people still speak the language of the heart. thanks so much, ma petit gui's! we are the Victoires! it is incredible, just when you arrive to the end of your day feeling like the looser, you end up in place victoires, winning on the human being level.

BACK TO ROCK AND ROLL!

back last night from amsterdam and straight to castings, then to the shooting of the gilles rosier video, then out with the crew to falafel in rue des rosiers-YUM!
the wonderful creative energy between us is expanding and brightening all our days! i keep loosing more and more parts of my body in the movie...arms...leggs...head...crazy crazy! gille is using his arm too to put collars and shirts on and off of me! the lights are so strong! the hair and makeup really wonderful people, staying late with us even if there is not much for them to do! marmotte is the makeup artist and he showed me his book. it is truely amazing! he has worked a lot with arnaud bani. many beauty skin products full luxury! i gave him and massage to thank him -- AND HE GAVE ME SO MUCH ENERGY HEALING! IT WAS AMAZING!

BOOKED for GILLES ROSIER SPOON VIDEO!

WOW! I JUST MET THE MOST WONDERFUL PEOPLE! GILLES ROSIER and DAVID O. we started talking about yoga and it was all over. from that seed blossomed the most holy friendship.
a true example of yoga practiced in every day life.
so with all this wonderful creative energy between us, they asked me to participate in the shooting with disciple films:
a video for gille roser's new collection! we will shoot the rest of the week after castings segments of the video! they are doing a video whith tons of effects, motion, fun, light hearted spirit, to communicate the spirit of the collection for the spoon party and spoon cd!

MAAAN MY AGENCY IS FAST! did a test today and got two new photos in my book that are awesome! they put the chips on th front of my card! tonight i met GILLES ROSIER and DAVID O! gilles rosier is launching his new collection and spoon magazine are promoting him. they are shooting a video to be put on the spoon cd and played at the spoon party! his new collection is manga inspired and gille rosier and david o realized! disciple films is creating the video! it sounds like an awsome project!

WELCOME TO PARIS!

off to paris today! landing in paris was a real trip! i think the most beautiful airport in the world is charles de gaul! wow! so space! the future is here in paris! i take a taxi to meet disciple films, who are hosting me for the fashion season in paris. disciple films an amazing film company in paris who came to milano and shot some of the shows i was in last season. alex and tinko!
driving up to their house near the eifel tower i saw that the tower was ALL LIT UP AND SPARCLING! i found out later that they do it every night for 10 minutes! pretty good timing to show up and see the eifel jumping with light! WELCOME TO PARIS!

TEST TODAY!

today i have a test with a dear dear friend from superstudio who searched the whole week to find a model and didnt find what he was looking for--and then remembered me! we have seen eachother a lot in the superstudio and stefano, has always been superkind to me. i always said to him, if he ever wanted to do a test i would be so happy to shoot with him. HE REMEMBERED ME AND PHONED! we are shooting haught coutour clothes. i got to shoot with this top guy model who lives in paris. he was awesome person! he is studying mathmatics, speaks italien, french, spanish, sweedish, and english. super intelligent! illaria came with me and watched the whole production. we finished at 1am!

FLAIR MAGAZINE!

i got up at 9am this morning to shoot at 10am with marco cremascoli for flair magazine! yoga photos. it was so wonderful because they let me do advanced postures instead of the normal easy stuff! they let me warm up before and the hair and makeup of laura valsecci was awesome! the stylist ornella put me in the new collections from nike and christie turlington/puma! what a workout! i cant wait to get the new photos for my website when it comes out in the magazine.

ALL NIGHT LONG!

up at 10 and off to castings! wow this is what they say happens to supermodels! they work 24/7! hehe only a little taste for me. back to the commercial at midnight to shoot in via dante all night long! this time there were 4 of us and i sang to everyone in order to stay awake all night! i have to say i worked with one guy who was really amazing actor and persona. can you tell who from the pic at the right? he made so much fun with me! it was a pleasure. everyone was very happy with the result and we laughed and joked together throughout the night. our sceen centered around the four of us walking down the street (lit from behind with those BIG movie lights) laughing together, with a street cleaning truck behind us spraying the pavement. at a certain point we see it about to spray us and we jump over it! it was a very beautiful light and a lot of fun people. no where to pee in milano at 5am, though!

SLEEP IS A COMODITY!

working on the commercial is so much fun! the food situation i have to say is really bad...only bread and cakes available. why they never have fresh veggies to snack on?
we shot in the beautiful cavalli cafe and i got to meet one of the owners who had two beautiful white dogs. we started shooting at 12am and finished at 6am! i went to sleep for two hours, got up and i am off to castings! rock and roll life...gotta rock it and keep rolling!

MOVING AGAIN!

well i am moving houses again. i applied to an agency in paris because i would like to try for the shows, and now i will go to stay with one of my dearest new friends from the movie, illaria, till i find out if they accept me. she lives in a funky part of milano in a micro flat with her sister. they are convinced it will be a lot of fun with all of us there! illaria is who makes it fun! have to say, i am sad to go from superstylie 26a. ah well...the yogi's say...you can live in the palace, just don't be attatched to it. it's been the nicest time...

OFF THE WALL!

rocked it this weekend on a special invite of me and illaria to the 25 year celebration anniversary of DIESEL in bassano!

Diesel, is one of my favorite companies. the messages that renzo rosso puts out there using the system to communicate is brilliant. from what i am have seen, the working style at diesel is primarily based on non contamination (hence bassano) to ensure the purity of the product in it's design. also, the people working there seem to enjoy it lots, work their asses off, and hang out in a very rainbow style manner.

MOBY PLAYED LIVE! illaria and i wangled our way as front as possible using every tirick in the book, to have a great view of MOBY and the stage. the light design was amazing. they had LIVE PERFORMANCES OF FIRE TWIRLING MAD MAX ADVENTURE STYLE people on stilts! they had a woman dangling upside down from a baloon flying and twirling in the air. they had this maze of light which illa and i stayed in for over 3 hours exploring its caverns, patterns, and caves. dancing at the end to dj cocolotto! what a night!

MARCEL VAN DER VLUGT!

drove back to amsterdam with my friend and went straight to a shooting with marcel van der vlugt! he is the dearest person to me, with whom i have shot several times. his photos are truely unique and i think he is definitly one of the top photographers of the world. WE SHOT FOR HIS "I LIKE..." SERIES! i got to be the honey girl!!!!!!!!
first i had to dress all in plastic and get taped up. then, he had 2 boxes of honey comb that i massaged into my face first. then he poured a whole JAR of HONEY onto my head!!!! we spent the next several hours pouring honey on my face and shooting 8x10 polaroids! i cant wait to put the photo in my book and i am so honored to now be present when he does a photo exhibition! i have to tell you though, i know now why they say always on masks and beauty treatments "do not put near eyes!"

BACK TO BELGIUM!

i got another job in belgium shooting for a magazine with marc lagrange! HE WAS SO FUN TO WORK WITH! he said next time we shoot together, he will make a test with me on big polaroid (see his site). i am so excited! we shot in a herbicide and pesticide plant...uk! i took photos to show everybody. great for the photos, baaaad for the health. when will the world recognize that biologic is the only way to go?
after the shoot (we finished early!) i went to see a client for marc and try on clothes. they have some amazing designers in belgium! i was told they have a very famous school in antwerpen. most designers who come out of that school are accepted into very high positions because it is very prestigious and end up showing in paris.
my friend picked me up after the shooting and we went out to dinner, stopped by a squat to see what was happening there, and i slept soooo well this evening. finally: sleeeeeep.

MY BIRTHDAY!

the biggest gift today was the opportunity to travel to amsterdam and be home for a day, and then to travel to belgium and spend the day with awesome people shooting for a belgium magazine. my mailbox was overflowing with well wishers when i came home, and i got to sleep in my beeeeeeeeeeed!

DEMARINI MIRACLE!

today i got my hair changed back! this guy at this salon did a great job of bringing my hair back to it's reddy color. it took 6.5 hours to get it back to the right color. they were so nice to me...got me salad to eat, read my book the rest of the time. i highly recommend these guys to anyone in milan who wants to have their color done!

		BLACK HAIR! today there were some miscommunications. somehow i got my hair dyed black with a blond stripe in the front. it was a green stripe, and then they changed it to a blond copper collor. the photos speak for themselves. i keep loosing myself when i walk past a mirror! i can't say that i will keep it. it's a pretty interesting moment... i feel like i have lost my spunkyness and sparcle... particulare sparkelare. now i know what it was like to have black hair! THE PHOTOGRAPHER WAS SO AWESOME! he actually doesn't shoot models and fashion anymore...he prefers to photograph street fashion and street people! he started this beautifully printed magazine called NEO HEAD. check it out: he travels all around the world photographing people! in egypt, this guy taught him how to ride his camel, and then he cruised around the whole day alone on his dromedary/camel taking photos of the pyramids! his pics and this mini mag are awesome and IT'S FOR FREE!

TONI TORINBERT!

what a fun day! i did one casting in the morning and then road my bike out (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay middle of nowhere--past piazza firenze!) to shoot a campaign with toni torinbert.
I GOT TO BE AN ANGEL IN THE PHOTO! you will see when it comes out...it's awsome. i have wings! i met everybody at the client's office where i got to shoot. it was wiked--one photo! i so enjoyed to work with renza and edo from leo burnett! mimo did my makeup easy and natural. i road back to the city and did two more castings. my greek agent was in the agency scouting for girls, i'm image management.
it was so nice to see anthi! i am very proud to say that my photo appears when you click on the COMPANY link.

CRAZY DAY!

this morning i had a casting for leo burnett advertizing agecy. callback. campaign. riding my bike there i almost got killed 10 times by out of control traffic! then when i arrived, i broke the high heel of my boot. so there i am having still my 10 lives in tact, banging my heel back into my shoe so i can make it to this callback. i walked in the door in that frame of mind and told them what happened when i got there! i was sure i wasnt going to get that job, everything in the universe was trying to make me not get there. then at a later casting my friend asked me about that appointment so i told her the story. she said, well maybe all that was happening so that you WOULD get there. i said, ok i agree with you. sure why not.

i got the job. shooting tomorrow!

200 PEOPLE CASTINGS!

wow. the castings in the last days have been over 200 people. they have even been closing castings at 100 people, so the rule of thumb is GET THERE EARLY! now i am sitting in my FAVORITE place in milano at the moment...JUNGLE JUICE. models get 25% off in the day, and 50% off in the night. they are pretty bare on the green juices (we are not in new york, anina!). STILL! it has internet you can use and an Evergreen juice that is pretty green/alkalizing. YUM! hope your day is going good.

i love my agency so much. they make modelling fun! they are such great people! they make me feel really well taken care of and good about myself. i feel very lucky to be working with them. they send me on really top castings! i SO enjoy to go into the agency and see them every day. isnt that a great feeling?

SHOOTING A MOVIE!

i am going to shoot a movie here in italy! i will play the lead! script rehersal starts on the 10th june, and the shooting will be all of august! i will have to work hard to balance modelling and this project. it will be so much fun though! i will get to travel for the shooting to all these sacred sites in the south of italy!

the movie is called: PEDRA MENDALZA, after one of the sacred sites. the rock is a legendary place where the fairies gather to collect the fire from a nearby town called, giave. I AM SO EXCITED!

5AM MEDITATION, YOGA, and SAVA!

my last days in new york city have been spent staying in the ashram on 1st ave, and 1st street, called THE SANCTUARY. i get up every day at 5am and do silent meditation for 1 hour, then 1 hour singing and chanting, and then half hour spiritual reading. it has actually been pretty crazy week--ha ha! with all the buisness dinners, and exibition parties i have gone to. basically i go out and party with my friends till 2am and then sleep for two hours, and then get up and meditatate for 2.5 hours, do yoga, and work for the community (it's called "selfless service" or "seva" in sanscrit), not to mention modelling! IT HAS BEEN SO WORTH IT! i have learned so much about my self, my mind, and cleared blockages in my body through the meditation and yoga.

for anyone who is interested, fyi, there are two rates to stay there. there is one full rate, and then the reduced rate you can get if you do the meditation, yoga, and work for the community. there is no smoking, no drinking, no drugs, no tv, and the rooms are small loft spaces. you get a wonderful vegetarian breakfast, and if you want you can eat the prasad (holy food blessed and offered to god first) for lunch. they have a great juice bar and vegetarian restaurant downstairs with live music on friday. there is a BIG wood floor yoga space on the 3rd floor you can use when there are no classes being given. it has really helped me so much to get my head clear and ready to take on milano. i suggest to everyone to try it one time staying there. it makes it possible to do a spiritual retreat and still go to work every day!

I GOT INTERVIEWED BY CHANNEL 7 NEWS is this stylie apartment of my dear friends, prem from nycd.com and his lovely wife radhika. thank you both so much for making me feel so welcome in your home. they heard about my from my friend, dan, at quintessence--my favorite restaurant.
i had to prepare a raw food lunch for, Dr. Jay Adlersberg, while being interviewed and filmed by the crew. they even showed my book on television! the guy said he liked my cooking and enjoyed meeting me, wishing me all the best, that he made the whole program practiacally all me. the exciting part was when i watched it and saw that the interviewed DONNA KARAN too! i am so excited to find out she eats raw food also! i look forward to the day i can meet her in person and learn more about her!

BEATRICE!

i met such a wonderful and fascinating person last night: Beatrice. she is a suptermodel from the 70's! she told me the most incredible stories about being a model at that time:

she said that there were fewer models back then and the industry was very different to what it is now. that when she was a model, models were required to do their own make-up, their own hair--even use wigs! she said that one model used to draw in every eyebrow hair with a pencil! what time did these women wake up to do a job!?
it was also expected that she would bring many shoes to her jobs and clothing. she said she would ask her designer friends for clothes to take on her photoshoots! TALK ABOUT THE MEANING, "MODEL BAG"! listening to her stories was fascinating and made me appreicate how easy i have it now! it was so interesting to me to hear about her modelling experiences. it was mindblowing to me that models used to be stylists and make-up artists!
i wonder if models would be hired especially for their fashion sence?
i wonder, when did the fashion industry change?
who were the first hair-stylists and make-up artists to emerge?
what made the photographer's decide to start hiring make-up artists and hair-stylists?

it seems there was a lot of trust back then between the model and the photographer. from her description i got the impression that models were considered multi-talented and highly revered.

i was so inspired to meet Beatrice. thank you to the designer, saba, and his kind invitation to his private women's club meeting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WARD!

i got invited to go to upstate NEW YORK, to ward's house for his annual private birthday bash. kelley from big magazine was really awesome helpful in getting me a ride up there and a ride back. the house was so beautiful black wood with many windows. his wife, dorotea, was awesome to meet. i know her face from greece--she's a supermodel and just shot a movie! wow and ward's daughter, electra, is an angelfairy come down from heaven. THE WHOLE WEEKEND WAS FULL OF SO MUCH GREEN, PARTY, AND RELAXATION IN NATURE! i had the best time thanks so much to everyone up there.

WALTER CHIN!

i got to shoot with walter chin! what an awesome experience. truely. it was such a great pleasure to meet him and get to know him in person. he has a book out of his own called, work in progress

AND I GOT TO WORK WORK WITH WARD! who i have heard so much about from living in amsterdam. he did my hair so awesome that i didnt wash my hair for days! now i wear my hair like that, parted in the center. awesome! he invited me up to his birthday bash on the labor day weekend!

I GOT TO WORK WITH MOB who shot this awesome video of me and who's crew made it so much fun to shoot for them, by playing music, clapping, singing along with us.

at the end of the day the entire cast, crew, and client gave me a standing ovation--clapping and shouting--for the fun we had together this day! it was such a rush.

WORKING GIRL

yippee! first job in new york with jill stuart jeans --AWESOME! i got to work with a great photographer friend of mine who i met backstage during the show season, lee clower. what a fun day it was to shoot with him. we shot both digital and 4x4 film. it was a lot of shots, and an amazing collection. i wanted to buy everything! HEY AND THIS IS THE NEW MOON TIMING (yesterday it was new moon) now i have set the tone for the next two weeks as the moon grows to fullness on May 15th.

ABUNDANCE

you will not believe what happened to me today! the day started out a bit rough and mid way through i got hit by an abundance streak! i went to a casting for jill stuart jeans and tried on the jeans--PERFECT FIT! so she asked me if i wanted to keep them?! then she sent me over to the clients showroom where i tried on a whole lot of clothes. i guess i'm a size 6 american because everything fit perfectly. i hung up all the clothes and handed them back to the boss, and he was so impressed he said i get a consolation prize--and gave me a jill stuart jean bag. SO CUTE! the rest of the day was awesome and now i got the perfect new york look. i also got the job for tomorrow. YAHOOO!

saturday, april 27th
	ROAD TRIP i woke up with the desire to go to see cape cod. i had read the name in many books, so i called my friend and we sped off at 12:02pm in the bat mobile! my friend told me that cape cod was only 3.5 hours away....it ended up being 5.5 hours away!!! we got there at 5.30pm, and i thought, what am i doing this for??, until we actually crossed the border into the cape. when i saw all that sand i understood why so much has been written about it. apparently, as the glacier was moving accross the americas trillions of years ago, it pushed in front of it a lot of sand. by the time it reached the end of the land, it just dumped all that sand out over the edge into the ocean, and that is how cape cod has become one giganitic dune. seriously, it's all sand. beautiful sand, but none the less, sand. we drove all the way to the end of it, to Provincetown. where we took out our bikes and biked on their awesome dune bike path for 3 hours. we watched the sunset at the lighthouse beach. the other thing about cape cod is that it is at sea level, so in many places the bike path became deep puddles. i rode through them up to my ankles on my little old raleigh bike! the sunset was amazing, i collected rocks for my friends whom i stay with in nyc. the ride back was wiked fun in the dark, because those same puddles when you rode through them reflected the trees perfectly on the glass-like surface. i hope everyone will have the chance to go one time to cape cod, only thing i recommend is to start driving earlier. the town itself is soooo cute! the little buildings and the food are great! my friend nagged me all the way back to nyc (we arrived at 3.30 am) saying, "see, it only took 3.5 hours to drive back!" yah, thats cuz he drove 90 miles an hour all the way with no traffic. riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! check out cape cod seashore cape cod magazine cape cod map cape cod bike trails

OUT IN UPTOWN

my friends took me for a night out in uptown eastside, manhatten. the bars were great for me because now there is a law saying it is illegal to smoke in public places, so they are all smoke free! by accident, while looking for one friend, we stumbled upon a wiked place i liked so much called DIP. great music and great looking people in there. must go back for sure.

the cherry on the evening was the ride home, right through times square. amazing the skyscrapers at night and the crazy lights everywhere. just like tokyo!

i have just landed in JFK airport, and my friend picked me up from the airport. my friends where i am staying are not home, so we drove around looking at the city making our way to my favorite juice bar on 2nd ave/11th street in the east village, LUCK'S LIQUITERIA. a berry powerful for me, please.

		HAMBURG, GERMANY after much time in the darkness, i burst out into the light. spring is here and i have just been in hamburg where i biked around the whole city for two weeks. so nice. i feel so fit and well in my skin. i ran and biked around the alster daily on castings! i am strong enough to do yoga when i get to new york. i leave on easter day the 20th april from amsterdam---in 2 hours! <<-------hamburg, baumwall, check out the wiked sky. this is down at the huge harbor . useful links hamburg info city map metro planner metro map hamburg video

	BACK IN MILANO i arrived yesterday back in milano, after taking the train at 8am and changing 4 times, travelling throught Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. you would think that was something auful, but I REALLY LIKED IT! i worked on my computer while watching out the window from time to time.
	THE SKY WAS MAGIC. extraordinary. stupendo. cloud formations amazing. the first ICE train i took was so chic. it even had electrical outlets to plug in my computer, then next ICE , still chic did not, the third train, EC, less chic and less frills, till the last one to milano from basil...well..ANCIENT train. it was like going in the train museum backwards in time. the more south i got, the older the trains got! i have to say that going through Switzerland was an experience. the big windows were like watching a nature show on tv. Switzerland, Very Green and Big Sky. i would so like to go there one day to snowboard (i have been to zermat only).
	i can't wait to go to Vienna! my first time to that country...and i just watched the movie, Amadeus, again. MOZART. AUSTRIA. nice.
	my friends and i went for a walk around the center of the city. on corso emanuelle there was one of the most beautiful christmas trees i have ever seen. sponsored by swarovski chrystals, the tree was laden with over 800 swarovski chrystal ornaments to launch the *swarovski chrystal gallery* in milan. i have never seen a tree that sparcled more! so many rainbows twinkling from the surrounding light refracting through the cut chrystals. wow. awesome.
