TOTALLY WORKING!

wow! so a buisy moment hit and i have done some really awesome photos here, working almost every day and i hope to make some money. the rates are so low here it's gonna be a miracle. my book however is going to be so amazing. i have been working with all the top photographers. i feel very fortunate. they know what a real model is and so appreciate it. wow! thank you so much!

on a very sad note...my little white phone got stolen off a photoshoot.
i was very sad about it. everyone who knows me, knows that phone.
if only i had the imei number then the police could find it.
there must be a message or a reason for it, and i still hold hopes
that it will be returned to me. i mean, my name is written all over it!



if anyone ever sees this phone around (all white though)
please give it back!

JOB BOOKING!

20M studio is one of the hottest studios in istanbul. 20Million is a bunch of young, hot guys that offer full house production from start to finish of everything under the sun you can imagine. i shot a catalog with them. their star photographer is emre (he's so hot!) and he made me look so beautiful. of course the set had full frozen nitrogen cubes that i had to play around. my friend gabriella and i shot together and she put her knee on one, not knowing that even through jean material it would burn you (nitrogen is perfect zero temperature). yep, she got burned. i used every muscle in my entire body on this shooting. every position i could invent. wow! hair, makeup, styling were spot on! i am so excited to see the photos, and there is even one where i am serving up the ice cubes that is so hot. i never been shot that kind of mini skirt sexy. thanks emre!

JOB BOOKING REDSTAR!

so today i am working with the awesome and amazing EMRE! from 20M here in istanbul. we are shooting the red star catalog. i get to be an ice girl. i am shooting today with my friend gabriella and 2 other models. 20M is the hottest young studio here in istanbul. they have so many magazines from all over the world. they shoot amazing stuff. i am so lucky to shoot with them. they shoot so many jobs here in istanbul-important top clients. the music is pumping, i am on emre's computer while i wait my turn in the hair and makeup room, and emre keeps coming over to me, grabbing a piece of paper, making some calculations and diagrams, then going back to shoot a polaroid! we are all having so much fun!
this morning we arrived at 8am, and the studio was still not open. we walked around the area, which is the first area that i like in istanbul. SO BEAUTIFUL! i think this is the heart of istanbul here. i took some photos. there was even this old shop of movie machines and the guy playing records. then we bought some turkish breakfast. the most popular breakfast seems to be spinach pie or cheese pie, and i tell you, the "croissant" is like a brick. it's filled with some kind of not so sweet heavy paste of nuts i think. hmmm. i should have got the spinach pie....

CASTINGS IN ISTANBUL

finding the right combination!

so we spend most of the day driving around istanbul (from one side to the other!) on castings. luckily we have the coolest most wiked models in all the world in our agency. everyone always laughing and joking and talking and being together as a team. it's so wonderful! today though, everyone is a bit tired. and me? i just don't know what to do about my hair and makeup. i am totally different than anyone else here. you need quicktime 6 to watch these movies

first impressions of istanbul:

THEY SPRAY PESCTICIDES AT NIGHT TO KILL THE MOSQUITOS. IT'LL KILL ME.

THERE'S SO MUCH CONSTRUCTION HERE YOU WOULD THINK IT IS BERUIT.

OUR DRIVER DIDNT PUT GAS IN THE CAR AND WE HAD TO PUSH IT TO A STATION.

how many models does it take to fix a van!

can you imagine suddenly driving down the street, you pass a red van, the door opens, and 10 hot chics in miniskirts jump out of the car and start pushing it to the gas station! i dont think any turks ever saw that before. they fixed the car for free and i dont know if we had to pay the gas. it was like out of the movies! you need quicktime 6 to watch these movies

i like it here. i have my own room and the girls i live with rock! i already have 3 editorials this week to shoot. shot my first today. top clothing. top photographer. sexy photos. they like sexy here. i am not so good at sexy.

BACK IN MILAN OFF TO ISTANBUL!

i am back in milano after climbing mt etna and dropping the car off in palermo. i get on the train only to find out there's no couchettes! the moon follows me all night but i dont sleep cuz you cant lock the door. i arrive at 10am this morning to milano centrale. i went to malpensa and picked up a friend for dinner who flew in from oz. he's so awesome! i am now at home and i pack and get ready to leave to istanbul, where i plan to work for the rest of the month. oof! as you can see...i am still not to sleep yet.
