FASHION TV MODEL AWARDS 2004 MONTE CARLO & CANNES |
i've been rocking it at the cannes and monte carlo
fashion tv model awards! i got
nominated by mr. adams himself when he met me in
paris thanks to my milan women agency leader paolo tomei!

I GOT TO SHOOT WITH IRIS BROSCH!
i got to shoot with iris brosch twice in monte carlo with jaguar!
the day was an incredible day with eccentric high fashion and
fast racecars! i love you iris! it's so awesome to shoot with
a female photographer!
i got even the chance to meet bono and edge from U2
after the monte carlo fashion tv model awards finals!
edge gave me his pic that he'd been using on their
new album for good luck!

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY |
it was 3 photographers and me: calix, julien, and artus. we all showed our books, photos of eachother,
and talked about what we like, making jokes around. i said how cool it was, to see these three friends,
who were all photographers and yes in no competition with eachother because each one's style
was TOTALLY DIFFERENT. no comparrision. artus piped up and said that calix was the good one.
i dont know who said it next, but someone said that the three mac's were "the good, the bad, and the ugly".
artus said that they could start a photo agency. i said, "yah, and you can book me for your jobs through my
agency called MONSTOR MODELS!" WE ALL BROKE OUT IN SHOUTING LAUGHTER.
"yah! and we can shoot for LOOSER MAGAZINE!"
with that our little clan was formed! coming back from turkey i asked the most famous designer if i could
borrow two dresses to shoot, and they very kindly gave me two of the most beautiful from the
new collection! i carried them from istanbul to amsterdam, amsterdam airport to my home, back
to the airport, amsterdam to paris, paris cdg to a bus and then to the metro and then to my home.
(believe me, i would have taken a cab if i had understood correctly that the metro was broken.)
TODAY WE SHOT THE FIRST ISSUE OF LOOSER MAGAZINE! calix shot first, then artus, and then julien at night.
i just get home and i am totally beat. i feel so very happy though! i feel like i have real friends and people
who are of very high quality by my side. i am very lucky. this is very rare. i am very honored.
I HOPE WE ALL GOT SOMETHING THAT WE LIKE!
I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE!

a lot of people have been smsing me and emailing me and bugging me because i havent really updated my journal page.
the reason for this is that i have been travelling a lot. i am sorry.
i havent been able to put my journal into the format that i like:
photo on the left...words on the right...
i have to find a better system. so for now...
that's what it will be...down and dirty blog...
sometimes photos...sometimes not. suffer!
i have an idea though...

i wanted to have a notebook paper in the background so that you could feel
what it was like to read my journal. so i photocopied the only free journal page
in my book and posted it here in the background. i hope you like it!ok ok!
the only thing is...how to get the text to scroll over a static image in the background.
anyone know the answer?

i stopped in amsterdam to see my yogi.
we did a mosnster 3 hour yoga session and then they celebrated seeing me
by making breakfast. they took me to the airport and i am so filled with love and energy.
