WHAT I EAT IN ISTANBUL

well...this is definitly a meat eating culture, however they do have a lot of veggi dishes in their food! mainly though, because we are on the road or at a job with take away, i have become the choban insalata girl, pilaf, and sometimes i can get a veggi wrap on the street--but it takes an incredible amount of charades and repeating no! yes! quite hilarious! and i love that the clients offer you tea, coffee, or cherry juice! i am addicted!

they offer you cherry juice at the castings cuz it takes so long to get there!
